What Is a Psychic Rune?
Before we get into details, you’re probably wondering, “what is a rune anyway?” The translation of the word means “magic” or “mystery” and the objects associated with psychic runes are known as rune stones (though they can sometimes be made out of wood.) Each stone has a specific engraving of a runic symbol, which is a letter of the alphabet — but not your traditional ABCs.
While several alphabets are associated with rune stones (Anglo-Saxon Futhorc, Cirth, Gothic Runes, Hungarian Runes, Turkic, Younger Futhork), the most common — and the oldest — is the Elder Futhark, a Germanic alphabet comprised of 24 characters. The runes are broken into three groups of eight (Frey, Heimdall, and Tyr), called aett — or aettir in a plural sense. - SOWILO or S: Heimdall Grouping
Stands for: The sun

Cannot be reversed but may lie in opposition: Destruction, failure to achieve goals, deceitful success, poor counsel, gullibility, retribution.
- EHWAZ or E: Tyr Grouping
Stands for: Horse/two horses
Casting Significance: Transportation (horse or machine), change for the better, progress, harmony, teamwork, the perfect marriage, or partnership.
Reversed: There aren’t any negative connotations on the flipside, rather, it symbolizes that there’s a need for change due to restlessness, betrayal, or mistrust.
